Maricopa County, located in Arizona, is joining the ranks of major metropolitan areas such as Atlanta and San Antonio by approving zoning for movie studio development. This move comes after the passing of legislation in Arizona that offers up to $125 million in incentives for film production within the state.

The Desert Studios Complex, once fully built-out, will feature 56 studios with a total size of approximately 40,000 square feet each.
