**Adobe to Close Downtown Portland Office, Shift Employees to Other Locations**

Adobe Inc. has announced it will shut down its downtown Portland office located at 1500 S.W. First Avenue. The company plans to consolidate operations and reassign employees to other offices.

According to a recent workforce adjustment notice, Adobe will reassign 47 employees to its offices in Seattle and San Jose, California. Additionally, 52 staff members will transition to remote roles, while two positions will be eliminated.

The company filed a notice with the Oregon WARN system, anticipating the possibility that some employees may decline the relocation offers. Employees were informed of the office closure plans last week.

“In assessing our real estate footprint, we regularly evaluate how our offices are being utilized in relation to business needs and employee usage,” an Adobe spokesperson said. “This process has led us to grow in some markets while consolidating or downsizing in others.”

The changes reflect broader shifts in workplace strategies, as companies continue to adapt to hybrid and remote work models.
