**More Development Planned for Glendale’s Entertainment District**
Glendale’s Sports and Entertainment District is poised for further expansion as a new development is planned at the corner of 99th Avenue and Ballpark Boulevard. The proposed project, to be named Envision Encore, aims to bring high-density residential units along with a mix of commercial and potentially hotel space.
Located just across the freeway from State Farm Stadium—home of the Arizona Cardinals—Envision Encore is designed to be pedestrian-friendly, offering convenient access to a variety of amenities. The development might include elements such as mini-marts, daycare centers, dry cleaners, cafés, and a hotel, according to reports from the Phoenix Business Journal.
This addition represents another bold step in the continued growth of the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale. The district already features key attractions including the Tanger Outlets, Desert Diamond Arena, and PopStroke, the golf-focused entertainment venue backed by Tiger Woods.
Nearby, a Topgolf venue is already operating, and the new Andretti Indoor Karting and Games facility is set to open later this year—adding to the area’s appeal as a major regional destination for entertainment and lifestyle amenities.
