**More Development Planned for Glendale Entertainment District**
Glendale’s vibrant Sports and Entertainment District is preparing to welcome a new addition. A developer is eyeing a site at the corner of 99th Avenue and Ballpark Boulevard for a project that could feature apartments, retail space, and potentially a hotel. This site lies just across the freeway from State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals.
Named *Envision Encore*, the proposed development will be a high-density, mixed-use residential community with a strong emphasis on walkability and pedestrian-friendly design. In addition to residential units and a possible hotel, the project could include a variety of commercial amenities. These may range from mini-marts and childcare centers to dry cleaners, cafes, and other small-scale retail facilities, according to reporting from the Phoenix Business Journal.
Once completed, Envision Encore will join a growing list of prominent developments in and around the bustling Westgate Entertainment District. This area is already home to major attractions such as Tanger Outlets, Desert Diamond Arena, and PopStroke—a golf entertainment experience backed by Tiger Woods.
Directly to the east of the proposed site is a Topgolf venue, as well as the upcoming Andretti Indoor Karting and Games facility, which is expected to open later this year.
With continued investment flowing into the area, Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District is rapidly evolving into one of the metro area’s premier destinations for living, shopping, and entertainment.
