**New Batting Simulator Experience Launches in Addison**

Forget the traditional batting cages with metal arms lobbing fastballs. A new high-tech baseball experience is arriving in Addison, Texas, redefining how fans practice their swing.

Batbox, a 13,000-square-foot venue located at Addison Village on the Parkway, is set to open this week and will feature 10 state-of-the-art baseball simulators. Designed to deliver a next-level interactive experience, players face simulated pitches and hit toward a screen depicting a full baseball field. Like the entertainment model popularized by Topgolf, groups of up to 18 players can book simulator bays for both casual games and competitive sessions.

The venue combines the thrill of baseball with the comfort of a sports bar atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a variety of shareable bar food and drinks from a full-service bar, all while watching live sports on screens that line the walls.

The project is estimated to cost between $3 million and $5 million. Behind the venture is SIMco, the company spearheading the Batbox brand. With ambitious plans underway, SIMco aims to open 25 Batbox locations across the U.S. by 2030, focusing on cities with Major League Baseball teams.

Get ready to step up to the plate in a whole new way—no gloves required.
