Adaptive Use Project Coming to Fort Worth, TX

Ft. Worth is set to receive a new adaptive use project, as Bluelofts plans a mixed-use community for the historic Star-Telegram building and neighboring Oil & Gas building. The 19-story Star Telegram building was formerly known as the home base of the Fort Worth Star Telegram newspaper and will now host 88 units with amenities such as a gym, community lounge, retail stores, restaurants and co-working space on its first floor. Meanwhile, 180 luxury multifamily units are planned for the 16 story Oil & Gas Building complete with its own gym clubroom and restaurant/retail area on ground level. To fund this endeavor Bluelofts intends to take advantage of both state and federal historic tax credits in partnership with Wolfe Investments .
