Adafruit Industries, a tech manufacturing company owned entirely by women, has recently announced its relocation to Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The 35-acre mixed-use complex will be the new home for Adafruit’s New York-based employees and will also serve as a hub for their manufacturing and product storage needs.
The company is renowned for its expertise in designing learning electronics, tools, and equipment. In line with their innovative culture and entrepreneurial spirit, Adafruit has signed a 10-year lease for an impressive 41,531-square-foot space in Building 19 at Industry City.
According to Jeff Fein , Senior Vice President of Leasing at Industry City , this move reflects the value that business owners like Limor see in their amenity-rich community which ultimately leads to happy employees.
