Transwestern Investment Group (TIG) has acquired 15.88 acres in Riverside, California and is partnering with Transwestern Development Company to construct the 307,394-square-foot Riverside Logistics Center. Scheduled to begin construction in Q3 2023 and expected for completion by Q3 2024, this Class A rear and side-load facility will feature a 36 foot clear height, 70 dock doors, an ESFR sprinkler system as well as 9500 square feet of office space. Additionally it will include 20 trailer stalls and 337 auto parking stalls. Oltmans Construction is serving as general contractor while RGA serves as architect; JLL’s Mark Detmer & Hunter McDonald are handling leasing for the project.
Mike McKenzie – Director of Acquisitions at TIG – commented on the acquisition: “Industrial vacancy in the Inland Empire remains tight with big box logistics space being highly sought after; this facility aims to satisfy users who require convenient access to Southern California ports along major transportation routes plus a strong labor pool”
