Acquire Spring Valley Village Retail Center: PRP Makes the Deal

Real estate investment firm PRP has announced the acquisition of Spring Valley Village, a retail center in Washington, DC’s Spring Valley neighborhood for $47.5 million. Built in 1939 and renovated in 2017, the center is 98% leased and listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Anchored by Crate & Barrel with various upscale tenants such as Millie’s Restaurant, CapitalOne Bank, Starbucks Coffee Company , Small Door Veterinary Clinic , Compass Coffee Roasters , and Bluestone Lane Cafe ; PRP plans to enhance aesthetics while selectively remerchandising it to leverage superior demographics and traffic counts . JLL represented both sides during negotiations for this deal .
