Hunt Midwest is constructing a 1.5 million-square-foot, build-to-suit facility for Ace Hardware Corporation at the Kansas City based real estate company’s new 3,300 acre mega site – KCI 29 Logistics Park. This Ace retail support center will be the first building in the development park and is set to become Kansas City’s largest distribution center. The project is expected to create 350 jobs and should be operational by 2025 with state of the art technology, automation and warehouse systems included.
KCI 29 Logistics Park officially broke ground this week with potential to create up to 20 million square feet of Class A industrial space as well as attract more than 9,000 jobs and $2.5 billion in capital investment supported by funding from Missouri State Government which has already seen strong interest from large scale national & global users for advanced manufacturing, distribution & logistics plus technology purposes alike .
