Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest acute care hospital, Coachella Valley Behavioral Health. Located at 81555 JFK Ct. in Indio, this state-of-the-art facility offers a full range of behavioral healthcare services to meet the growing demand for accessible mental health treatment in Riverside County.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony held last week marked an important milestone for the community as they welcomed this much-needed addition to their healthcare resources. With first patient admissions expected in the coming days and final preparations underway, Coachella Valley Behavioral Health is poised to provide comprehensive care through both inpatient and intensive outpatient programs.
As one of only a few freestanding behavioral health hospitals in the region, this 80-bed facility fills a significant gap by addressing an estimated deficit of approximately 1,200 beds for mental health treatment within Riverside County alone. Scott Hullinger, CEO of Coachella Valley Behavioral Health expressed his gratitude towards all those involved with bringing this project to fruition and looks forward to collaborating with local partners within Indio and surrounding communities.
This new hospital not only meets a critical need but also reflects Acadia’s commitment towards providing expert behavioral healthcare services across various regions without compromising on quality or accessibility.
