JLL has appointed David Carlos as vice chairman and head of nonprofit, education, and government practice. He is joined by colleagues Andrew Dzenis who serves as Managing Director and Rekha Pednekar as Associate. The team previously worked at Savills before joining JLL’s Manhattan headquarters.
David Carlos brings extensive experience in complex real estate transactions to the table with a three-time REBNY Ingenious Dealmaker award under his belt for his work with prominent organizations such Weill Cornell Medicine, Jewish Theological Seminary, CUNY, New York Public Library and KIPP Charter Schools.
Andrew Dzenis has quickly risen to the rank of managing director since joining Savills in 2018 due to his strategic planning skillset combined with an ability to overcome transactional challenges while Rekha Pednekar became a trusted real estate advisor after graduating from Fordham Gabelli School of Business in 2021 when she joined Carlos’ team shortly thereafter.
JLL recently appointed David Carlos along with two colleagues from Savills – Andrew Dzenis (Managing Director) & Rekha Pednekar (Associate) – into their nonprofit/education/government practice based out of their Manhattan headquarters where they will leverage their expertise gained through complex real estate transactions including those conducted on behalf of Weill Cornell Medicine; Jewish Theological Seminary; CUNY; New York Public Library & KIPP Charter Schools among others which have earned David multiple REBNY Ingenious Dealmaker awards over time whilst both Andrew & Rekha have demonstrated strategic planning capabilities that enabled them rise up the ranks quickly within this field respectively
