Albina Vision Trust (AVT), a nonprofit created to steward the vision for the future of lower Albina, has acquired a 4,500-square-foot building as its new headquarters. According to Portland Business Journal , this office building is located at 2156 N. Williams Avenue and will be renovated before AVT moves in during summer 2021.
Led by Executive Director Winta Yohannes, AVT was previously operating out of the historic Leftbank Building at 240 N Broadway and thought they should acquire more space for hosting events and activities that align with their mission of creating a communal family oriented atmosphere in 94 acres centered on Rose Quarter into high density mixed use neighborhood. Renovations are expected to be completed by next spring allowing them ample time to move into their new home base come summertime next year!
