Urban Green Development is planning to break ground on their Moroccan-style hotel, Raha (which means “rest” in Arabic), by the end of this year. Located in Denver’s Lower Highland (LoHi) district, the 35-room hotel/restaurant will take up one of the last vacant parcels and feature a 2000-square foot restaurant and lobby bar on its lower level. Additionally, three stories of guest rooms as well as a rooftop patio will be included. The total budget for this project is estimated at $23 million which has been funded through lender First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) and private partners. Coesivo Design Group from Denver was chosen to be the interior designer while Neostudio from Denver serves as architect for Raha with Schneider Building Company also based out of Denver acting as general contractor for construction expected to take two years before opening its doors to guests.
