The Chicago Bears have reignited discussions with the City of Chicago regarding their future stadium. In a letter to season-ticket holders, team president Kevin Warren expressed optimism for the potential construction of an indoor complex in downtown Chicago. While other municipalities such as Arlington Heights remain under consideration, the current focus is on building within city limits. Constructed in 1924, Soldier Field is one of the smallest stadiums in NFL and has prompted talks about relocation from both sides since 2019 when they purchased Arlington International Racecourse for $197 million with plans to build a $5 billion entertainment complex. After taxes were raised substantially on this property, demolition began shortly thereafter and now it appears that these conversations are being revisited once again by both parties involved.
