Construction of the Peppa Pig Theme Park in North Richland Hills is underway, with Merlin Entertainments – the company behind attractions such as Legoland and Madame Tussauds – developing a 31,000 square foot project estimated to cost $17 million. Huitt-Zollars has been named as the design firm for this exciting new venture.
Targeting preschoolers, this stand-alone theme park will feature multiple rides, interactive attractions and themed playscapes that are part of a licensing agreement with Hasbro. Scheduled to open in 2024, it will become North America’s second Peppa Pig Theme Park; Merlin opened its first destination in Florida earlier this year.
