Dallas is set to become a surfing destination with the exclusive rights secured by global developer Aventuur for its wave-generating technology. The mixed-use surf, leisure and wellbeing destination called Wavegarden’s Cove will be anchored by a 5.5-acre surfing lagoon and cost between $50 – 100 million. It will feature hospitality, retail, residential components such as cafes, restaurants beach clubs; fitness and wellness studios; high performance training centers; functions & events facilities; creative offices etc.
Aventuur isn’t alone in eyeing Dallas as a non coastal surfing outpost – GoodSurf led by TopGolf veteran Zach Shor plans to bring a beer garden outlet to Deep Ellum neighborhood in Dallas too! To aid their mission of growing popularity of Surfing across US they have acquired stationary wave company CityWave North America recently . With these developments it looks like Realistic Waves are all set to debut at the Surf Park in Dallas soon!
