McAllen TX: $120M Mixed-Use Development Project Announced

Domain Development has announced a $120 million mixed-use development plan for North McAllen, Texas. The District will be an urban environment where residents and patrons can live, work, shop, dine and play in one vibrant walkable district. Drawing inspiration from shopping districts such as The Domain or The Historic Pearl the project will feature boutique stores to well-known restaurants with everything from farm-to-table eateries to gourmet dining experiences.

Shavi Mahtani of Domains said “The idea is to bring the first true mixed use development to South Texas” Completion of this project is expected in four phases beginning with retail shells and restaurant followed by office space then apartments and townhomes. This multi million dollar investment promises a unique experience for North McAllen that could become an example of future developments throughout South Texas.
