BXP is revamping West Coast operations upon the announced retirement of Bob Pester (pictured), who has led the San Francisco region for 25 years. Rod Diehl, currently SVP, leasing for the San Francisco region, will take over as successor to Pester in early 2024. To facilitate this transition, BXP announced Tuesday that it would reorganize its West Coast operations across San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle under one management structure effective immediately. During this time period both Pester and Diehl will jointly lead these regions with a gradual shift of duties from former to latter over months ahead.
The company also stated that it would continue to maintain regional presence in Los Angeles and Seattle while Bay Area remains their fourth largest region by square footage after Boston, New York City and Washington DC respectively.
This move marks an important milestone for BXP as they look forward towards betterment of their services on the West Coast side through unified leadership structure under two experienced professionals – Bob Pester & Rod Diehl .
