JLL Arranges Sale of Savannah Transload Facility: New Facility for Sale

JLL Capital Markets has arranged the $74.7 million sale of an infill industrial, build-to-suit transload facility totaling 136,240 square feet in Savannah, GA. The newly built facility at 4833 and 4835 Old Louisville Road boasts 69 parking spaces, 884 trailer spaces and 134 dock doors located near I-95, I-16 two rail intermodals and the Port of Savannah. JLL represented the seller InLight Real Estate Partners while procuring buyer JPMREIT for this transaction.

The JLL team was led by Senior Managing Directors Britton Burdette, Patrick Nally Dennis Mitchell and Matt Wirth as well as Directors Mitchell Townsend and Jim Freeman who successfully closed this deal with their expertise in capital markets services. Dave Esrig Co President of JPMREIT expressed his satisfaction on acquiring a high quality asset that will serve both drayage/transload needs as well as secure storage for ocean containers located within five miles from fast growing Port of Savannah “We are pleased to have acquired what we believe is a high quality asset that will serve both critical drayage/transload needs along with securely storing excess trailers or ocean containers close to fast growing port” he said
