Equity Residential has opened 87 upgraded residences at the Pearl Apartments in Marina del Rey, CA as part of a $45 million capital improvement program. The 597 market rate, garden-style apartments are located in 15 three-story buildings and have been undergoing renovation with existing residents being offered alternate housing opportunities while their units are being upgraded. All moving expenses will be covered by Equity Residential.
Eric Grossman from Equity Residential commented on the project: “We are leveraging Pearl’s campus-style layout to break the major reconstruction of the community into phases, allowing for transformation to be completed while most of complex remains occupied.”
The renovated apartments boast a modern aesthetic with new kitchens featuring stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, wood plank flooring, LED lighting and updated bath fixtures and sinks.
