"Bronx Building Installs PropTech to Generate Free Electricity"

Enviro Power, a climate technology company, has installed its SmartWatt Boiler at the 74-unit Cambridge House co-op residences in the Bronx. Located at 3235 Cambridge Ave, this is the first co-op building to tap into this innovative technology.

The SmartWatt Boiler is a drop-in replacement for conventional hot water heating systems that allows buildings to generate clean energy with close to 100 percent efficiency while reducing carbon emissions and helping meet New York City’s Local Law 97 goals. This prop tech will not only lower energy costs but also provide over 50 percent of power needed for common areas within the building.

Enviro Power’s mission is focused on decarbonizing buildings and contributing towards creating a greener economy through their cutting edge solutions like these boilers which are capable of generating free electricity from existing infrastructure without any additional investments or disruption in service delivery.
