“Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Group Joins Albuquerque’s Booming Tech Scene”

Northrop Grumman is expanding its New Mexico operations by relocating its space systems and cybersecurity operations workers to a new technology hub at Kirtland Air Force Base. Approximately 100 employees will move from their current offices near the Albuquerque International Sunport into Max Q, the name of the tech hub.

The facility covers 70 acres and includes up to one million square feet of office, commercial, retail and lodging in the plans. Northrup Grumman will be an anchor tenant in this facility which will support national security space business operations, space system mission management as well as cybersecurity missions.

Albuquerque-based Dekker Perich Sabatini was responsible for designing this building while Wilger Enterprises handled general construction services with Bohannon Huston doing civil engineering work on it too.
