LA Sandwich Shop Chain from New England Plans Expansion Through Franchising

Kelly’s Roast Beef, the Boston-based inventor of the North Shore roast beef sandwich, is targeting Los Angeles for growth as it continues to expand across New England and beyond. The chain seeks to leverage its fame in its home region by securing multi-unit franchisees. Market research indicates that Kelly’s Roast Beef estimates Los Angeles can support up to 50 new locations with a goal of 10 units within five years.

“Los Angeles has been at the top of our list for expansion for some time,” said Neil Newcomb, CEO of Kelly’s Roast Beef Franchising. “We believe we would do exceptionally well in this market due to its receptiveness towards new business concepts and large population from northeastern United States who are familiar with our brand.”
