Swinerton has added Katayoon (Kat) Alavian to the team in its Atlanta office as Director of Special Projects. With a background in commercial projects totaling approximately $600 million, and $450 million during her Swinerton tenure, Alavian shifts to Atlanta from the company’s Los Angeles office where she was hired in 2015 as Senior Project Manager and later promoted to Project Executive.
Derek Mosiman, vice president and division manager for Swinerton Atlanta commented that “Kat is well-suited to lead our Special Projects group.” He noted her ability “to build a high-performing team” while developing their expertise; collaborate with clients for superior quality finished products that meet objectives; plus her passion for high-end design and attention to detail on large scale projects. Alavian is already proving an incredible asset according to Mosiman.
