Mast Capital has received county approval to redevelop and renovate the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa’s Wesley Chapel neighborhood. In March 2022, Mast Capital partnered with Amzak Capital to acquire the 480-acre property.
The project includes a new mixed-use town center that will add 465 apartments, 25 townhomes, 75,000 square feet of retail and office space as well as a pedestrian promenade. Additionally, plans include constructing a 120-unit townhome community along with 25,000 square feet of commercial space while also renovating the resort and golf course.
Founded in 1981 ,the Saddlebrook is currently home to 500 keys condo hotel resort featuring more than 40 tennis courts , six pickleball courts , two Arnold Palmer designed 18 hole golf courses , over 100 000 square feet of meeting spaces plus world renowned tennis & golf academy . The property also offers several cafes & restaurants full size driving range swimming pool spa pro shops nature reserve classroom space student dormitories .
