Sendero Capital and Angelo Gordon have closed on their first medical office building (MOB) acquisition, 1952 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, Connecticut. The 53,120-square-foot property is located near major transportation routes with access to a Connecticut transit stop. Anchor tenants at the mission-critical healthcare facility include Hartford Healthcare and Yale New Haven Health amongst others.
The joint venture has plans to invest up to $300 million over the next two years in value-add and core plus outpatient medical office and surgery center assets throughout the Northeast United States; 1952 Whitney Ave being its inaugural purchase under this initiative.
