Rent a Home in a Former Tucson Golf Course Community

Rent a Home in a Former Tucson Golf Course Community

The Quail Canyon Golf Course was closed a few years ago due to its prime real estate in the Santa Catalina Foothills being worth more than what the pitch-and-putt course was bringing in. After much deliberation, Pima County Board of Supervisors approved 310 units on 53 acres near Oracle and Rudasill Roads. The plan proposed 210 apartment units across seven three-story buildings located in the northern portion of the site, while 100 single family homes were planned for its southern portion divided by a seasonal wash that caused some contention among nearby property owners. Developer Urbaneer Investment Partners agreed to leave most of this wash untouched as part of an exchange for increased density elsewhere onsite.
This former golf course is now set to become a rental community with approval from local authorities and agreement between developers and neighbors alike – paving way for new opportunities within Tucson’s residential market!
