Northern Virginia's First Residential Building to Achieve WiredScore Platinum Certification

WiredScore has awarded Heming, a multi-family project developed by Skanska in McLean, Virginia, with the prestigious WiredScore Platinum certification. This makes Heming the first residential building in Northern Virginia to receive this recognition.

The WiredScore certification is given to buildings that are technologically advanced and equipped to meet digital connectivity needs. To earn this distinction, Heming underwent a rigorous evaluation process focused on aspects such as master planning, infrastructure services and monitoring capabilities as well as innovation potential.

Skanska has been working with WiredScore since 2020 to certify its development portfolio for meeting modern standards of technology and connectivity requirements. In addition to its technical features, Heming also offers 38000 square feet of ground-floor retail/restaurant space which is part of Scotts Run master plan .
