BFC Partners has appointed Melanie E. La Rocca as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the workflow, strategy and organization of essential business processes at the full-service development firm. Based in BFC’s Brooklyn office, La Rocca will collaborate with Principals Don Capoccia, Joseph Ferrara, Win Wharton and Brandon Baron.
La Rocca brings a wealth of experience to her new position from her prior roles as founding Chief Efficiency Officer for the City of New York; Commissioner at NYC Department of Buildings; and Vice President Development & External Affairs at NYC School Construction Authority.
