Empire Group of Companies, a Scottsdale-based developer, has started construction on its latest build-for-rent community in Peoria. Village at Pleasant River is located at 115th Avenue and Happy Valley Road and will be the company’s second development in Peoria and ninth in the West Valley. The nearly 25 acre site will include 246 single family homes for rent with gated entry, resort style pool, state of the art fitness center, community lounge plus private backyards with doggy door access as well as smart home technology and additional storage space for two parking spaces per home.
Richard Felker from Empire states “We anticipate leasing to begin by early 2024 just as the new Taiwan Semiconductor plant is planned to open. There are also many other companies and organizations coming to this area which makes our location even more attractive.”
