CBRE Arranges Refinancing for Atlanta's Platinum Tower

CBRE has arranged the refinancing of Platinum Tower, a 312,591-square-foot Class A office tower in Atlanta’s Cumberland/Galleria submarket. Brian Linnihan, Mike Ryan and JP Cordeiro with CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt & Structured Finance in Atlanta represented the borrower Accesso in the deal. The five-year CMBS loan was provided by an American multinational financial services firm.

The 17-story office tower at 400 Interstate North Parkway is near the intersection of I-75 and I-285 and within walking distance of The Battery – a 2.3 million sq ft mixed use development anchored by Truist Park – home to Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves team.

“The Cumberland/Galleria submarket has been a magnet for growth over last decade,” said CBRE Vice Chairman Linnihan “with over 3,500 new businesses and 70,000 jobs added since 2010.” He continued: “Platinum Tower’s top tier amenities coupled with its strong tenant base combined with market potential made this an exciting project to work on.”
