A joint venture of Endeavor Real Estate Group and Cox has acquired The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta from Crescent Real Estate for $220 million, according to reporting from Commercial Search. The transaction involves a 330-key hospitality property positioned within the Avalon mixed-use district.
The Hotel at Avalon opened in 2018 and has been owned by Crescent Real Estate since September 2020. The property offers a mix of guest rooms and suites ranging in size from 355 square feet to 1,100 square feet, targeting a variety of stay needs from standard accommodations to larger-format suites.
On-site amenities at the hotel include a second-floor swimming pool, a fitness center, and an on-site restaurant. The property also provides event and meeting infrastructure, with multiple event venues and three and a half levels of structured parking that together accommodate 407 vehicles, supporting both hotel guests and conference attendees.
The building incorporates the Alpharetta Conference Center, a 65,000-square-foot corporate venue developed in partnership with the city of Alpharetta. This conference component comprises 44,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 18 separate rooms, and a ballroom. The venue is designed to host corporate and group events and can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
The Hotel at Avalon sits within the Avalon mixed-use district, described as an 86-acre walkable neighborhood with an overall development value of approximately $1 billion. The broader Avalon district includes roughly 2.3 million square feet of combined retail, dining, office, and entertainment space, along with more than 600 luxury rental apartments, creating a dense mixed-use environment around the hotel.
