Texas A&M Fort Worth Construction Progressing

Construction has begun on the first structure of Texas A&M Fort Worth, the state’s newest university campus. The Law and Education Building is located east of the Fort Worth Convention Center and will cost $150 million to complete. It will be home to Texas A&M’s rapidly growing School of Law, as well as courses in engineering, health care, nursing and other subjects offered by Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Health Science Center and Tarleton State University.

The four-block campus is set to include a Research & Innovation Building where private sector companies – including some major employers in the city – can collaborate with agencies from within The Texas A&M System. Additionally there will be a Gateway Building housing offices plus classrooms for meetings or conferences at its center.

The goal set out by The Texan AM System is for completion of this new facility by 2027; an exciting prospect that marks an important milestone in higher education across the state!
