Daniel Management Group Promotes Lauren Evett to VP of Property Management in Chicago

Northmarq’s acquisition of Thirdline extends institutional-style access to income-oriented CRE via a registered fund, modestly deepening liquidity channels for smaller sponsors and wealth platforms.

Daniel Management Group, a Chicago-based multifamily management and investment firm, has promoted Lauren Evett to vice president of property management. The move formalizes Evett’s expanding role overseeing a larger and more varied portfolio of assets, clients and onsite teams. She has become a key member of the company’s leadership group, particularly in steering properties through the demanding transition-to-stabilization phase, where operational consistency and leasing execution are critical.

T2 Capital Management has launched Base Living, a wholly owned, tech-enabled property management platform designed to support the firm’s portfolio. With the launch, T2 has appointed Tyler Yates as director of property management, tasking him with responsibility for the operational and financial performance of T2’s properties. Yates now leads a team of 24 Base Living professionals working across Illinois, Indiana and Florida, supported by eight members of T2’s corporate staff. He reports to T2 principal Aaron Tink, who heads the firm’s asset management division and leads the new Base Living platform.

Cushman & Wakefield has advanced Jack Goldsborough from director to senior director. Based in Kansas City, Goldsborough focuses on industrial sale and lease transactions throughout the Midwest, advising landlords, occupiers, investors and developers on a broad range of industrial assignments. Over a 12-year commercial real estate career, he has completed more than 300 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $500 million, underscoring his role in the region’s industrial deal flow.

Financial services veteran Kevin Christopher has joined Chicago-based Key Mortgage as senior vice president of mortgage production. Christopher brings 34 years of experience in financial services, including extensive work in mortgage lending and sales leadership at an independent lender that operates across multiple states. He most recently served as managing director of mortgage sales for the central division at JPMorgan Chase, where he led retail mortgage sales across 17 states. His prior leadership roles include positions at BMO Harris, U.S. Bank, Prism Mortgage and Baird & Warner Financial Services.

Northmarq has expanded its investment management capabilities with the acquisition of Thirdline Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor that manages the Thirdline Real Estate Income Fund (TREIX), a registered closed-end fund. Northmarq Fund Management, founded in 2002, invests and manages debt and equity capital nationwide with a focus on small-balance and mid-market commercial real estate. The addition of Thirdline broadens Northmarq’s presence in income-oriented strategies and introduces a registered real estate income fund that is available to a range of institutional and individual investors. The fund is also accessible to wealth managers and their clients through national custodial platforms, enhancing distribution channels for real estate-backed income products.
