Harrison Street Asset Management has introduced a series of senior appointments within its Investor Solutions Group, reflecting an expansion of leadership coverage across key functions and geographies. The firm named Dan Fanelli as Managing Director and Co-Head of the US Investor Solutions Group, with Fanelli based in New York. Harrison Street also appointed James Choi as Managing Director and Co-Head of the US Investor Solutions Group, pairing the two executives in a shared leadership structure for the platform's US investor coverage. In addition, Dan Kim has been appointed as a Managing Director based in Chicago, where he will serve as an infrastructure specialist within the Investor Solutions Group.
These appointments collectively strengthen Harrison Street's senior bench focused on investor relationships and solutions, with distinct roles for Fanelli and Choi in co-heading the US Investor Solutions Group and Kim concentrating on infrastructure. The structure, as announced, highlights a coordinated approach to investor engagement, while formally designating key leadership in both New York and Chicago for the group's activities.
In a separate move, Gantry has added Matthew Gavula as a loan production Director within the firm's St. Louis production office. In this role, Gavula is tasked with developing a roster of clients and securing financing on their behalf for properties that span a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes. His work will be carried out through Gantry's network of life company correspondents, vetted commercial real estate lenders, and equity sources, aligning borrowers with appropriate capital providers across the firm's established relationships.
Gavula's responsibilities, as described, cover both origination and client development, with a specific emphasis on financing execution. By working with life companies and other vetted lenders and equity sources, his position connects borrower demand with multiple forms of capital, including life company capital and other commercial real estate funding channels that Gantry has in place.
JLL has also made a senior appointment within its Americas Consulting business, naming Jamie Fitzgerald as Senior Director and Financial Services Consulting Lead. In this capacity, Fitzgerald is responsible for driving growth across banking, investment management, fintech and insurance accounts. The role centers on consulting support for financial services clients that are navigating changing market conditions and risk considerations.
According to the announcement, Fitzgerald will work closely with JLL's Financial Services leadership team to deliver real estate solutions tailored to these clients. The focus is on helping organizations balance risk while addressing complex and rapidly evolving markets, with an emphasis on transformative real estate strategies.
