One Orchard has launched in New York City as an investment firm and holding company focused on channeling capital into fully integrated, proprietary real asset platforms. The new company is positioning itself to build and oversee specialized operating platforms that target specific segments of the real assets universe.
As part of its launch, One Orchard is introducing its first investment and operating platform, InfraMed Properties. InfraMed is a healthcare infrastructure strategy dedicated to acquiring and managing critical medical outpatient facilities. These properties are leased to leading healthcare systems and specialty care providers, underscoring the platform’s emphasis on mission-critical real estate that supports the delivery of outpatient medical services.
InfraMed is being seeded with a 25-asset portfolio, providing immediate scale to the new platform. The structure is formed in partnership with REDICO, a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and operating company with a 60-year track record. REDICO brings extensive experience in healthcare real estate, adding an established operating and development capability to InfraMed’s strategy.
One Orchard’s investment in InfraMed is backed by institutional limited partners. The investor group is led by Pantheon, a global private markets investment firm with $84 billion in assets under management. Pantheon’s participation highlights the involvement of large-scale institutional capital in the creation of the new healthcare infrastructure platform.
Co-founders David Elliott and Bradley Guz are leading One Orchard. Elliott noted that the formation of One Orchard and InfraMed reflects the team’s experience investing more than $10 billion in real assets and platforms over the past 15 years. He also emphasized their view that private markets and real assets investing are entering a new era in which a more integrated, platform-oriented approach is needed.
Collectively, the launch of One Orchard, the creation of InfraMed Properties, the initial 25-asset portfolio, and the partnerships with REDICO and Pantheon outline a strategy centered on scaled, institutional ownership and management of healthcare outpatient facilities. The focus on critical medical infrastructure and alignment with major healthcare systems and specialty providers positions the platform within a specialized segment of the healthcare real estate market.
