Kidder Mathews is entering the Dallas, Texas market with a new office that will extend the firm’s platform into the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The move marks the company’s first presence in Texas and increases its footprint to 20 offices across six states, reflecting a broader regional reach for its brokerage and advisory services.
The Dallas office opens with a six-person brokerage team, anchored by an investment sales group and a healthcare-focused specialist. Mart Martindale, Brandon Beeson, Wilson Stafford, John David Cobb, and Claire Schmeltekopf have joined Kidder Mathews to form the local investment sales team. They bring experience in trading income-producing assets and advising owners and investors on disposition and valuation strategies.
Martindale, Beeson, and Stafford will lead the Dallas office after previously serving as co-founders of Edge Capital Markets. In their new roles at Kidder Mathews, they are expected to guide the firm’s investment sales initiatives across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Together with Cobb and Schmeltekopf, the team has completed more than $3.5 billion in transactions, providing a track record across multiple asset types and deal structures. In addition, they have collectively valued more than $20 billion in assets, underscoring their focus on property valuation and advisory assignments.
The group’s client roster includes institutions and private investors such as KeyBank, EPR Properties Trust, Trigild, BH Properties, Argentic Investment Management, and CWCapital, among others. These relationships illustrate the team’s experience working with lenders, investment managers, and property owners on both transactional and advisory engagements.
Rounding out the initial Dallas lineup, Barrett Jones has joined Kidder Mathews as a healthcare tenant advisory specialist. Based in Dallas, Jones will concentrate exclusively on healthcare tenant representation, supporting medical users as they evaluate space needs and negotiate occupancy strategies. His arrival adds a focused healthcare advisory component alongside the investment sales capabilities of the broader team.
Within the new office, Mart Martindale will serve as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and Shareholder. In this leadership role, he will oversee the Dallas operation and coordinate with Kidder Mathews’ other offices as the firm integrates its Texas presence into its existing six-state platform. The combination of an investment sales team and a dedicated healthcare tenant representative positions the Dallas office to serve owners, investors, and occupiers across the metroplex as Kidder Mathews builds out its footprint in the region.
