HBK CPAs & Consultants has relocated its Baltimore regional office to the Executive Plaza complex in Hunt Valley, Maryland, after signing a new lease with Hill Management Services, Inc. for 7,168 square feet of office space. The move brings 15 employees to the multi-building office property, consolidating the firm’s local presence within a single Hunt Valley location.
The leased premises are part of Executive Plaza, a business complex located at 11350 McCormick Road. The property consists of four office towers that together comprise 550,000 square feet of commercial office space. The complex is positioned within what Hill Management Services describes as a robust and diverse business community, which is viewed as an appropriate environment for professional services firms such as HBK to serve existing clients and pursue new business opportunities.
The leasing transaction involved representation on both the landlord and tenant sides. Danielle Bridge of Hill Management Services represented the landlord in negotiations related to the lease. On the tenant side, Clare Berrang of Singer Demareck Real Estate handled negotiations on behalf of HBK CPAs & Consultants. The parties did not disclose lease term, rental rate, or other financial details related to the agreement.
HBK CPAs & Consultants is an accounting firm headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio. The firm established its entry into the Baltimore market following the acquisition of McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond, a 30-person accounting firm, late last year. That transaction provided HBK with an immediate regional foothold and an existing client base in the Baltimore area, which the firm is now supporting from its new office within Executive Plaza.
Hill Management Services highlighted Executive Plaza’s location and surrounding business environment as key attributes for professional services firms. According to the company, the property’s setting within a diverse business community supports both client service and business development efforts for tenants such as HBK. With this relocation, HBK’s Baltimore regional office is now operating from the Hunt Valley complex under its new lease with Hill Management Services.
