A long-term, full-floor commitment from a federal-focused tech occupier at Reston Town Center reinforces demand for high-quality, amenitized office product in Northern Virginia.

BXP has secured a new long-term office lease with TekSynap at Reston Town Center, the company’s 5 million square foot mixed-use property in Northern Virginia. The agreement covers a full floor totaling 26,500 square feet, reflecting continued tenant engagement with well-amenitized office destinations in the region.

TekSynap, an IT mission systems integrator and technology solutions provider, focuses on serving federal civilian, defense, and intelligence community clients. Under the new lease, the company will relocate from its current office at 1900 Oracle Way to the second floor of 11921 Freedom Drive within Reston Town Center.

The move consolidates TekSynap’s presence into a single full-floor premises, positioning the firm within a larger, mixed-use environment that integrates office space with surrounding retail, dining, and service offerings. The relocation keeps the company within Northern Virginia’s established technology and government contracting corridor.

Newmark’s Cole Spalding represented TekSynap in the lease transaction. The representation underscores the role of tenant advisors in securing space that aligns with operational needs, proximity to clients, and talent recruitment objectives, particularly for federal-facing technology occupiers.

Commenting on the lease, BXP’s vice president of office leasing, Erin Cotter, said TekSynap’s decision to move to Reston Town Center highlights sustained demand for workplaces that pair modern, high-quality office premises with a strong amenity base. Cotter noted that the property offers convenient transit access along with an extensive mix of shops, restaurants, and services.

BXP positions Reston Town Center as a well-connected location for technology companies seeking environments that can support collaboration, employee engagement, and long-term business growth. The TekSynap lease reinforces the town center’s role as a hub for corporate and technology users within Northern Virginia’s broader office market.

With this transaction, TekSynap will transition from its existing Oracle Way address to a new floor within 11921 Freedom Drive, while BXP continues to leverage Reston Town Center’s scale and amenities to attract and retain tenants seeking both connectivity and a mixed-use setting.
