JLL has expanded its asset management services leadership as part of its global value and risk advisory platform within the firm’s capital markets services. Earlier this year, the firm named Katie Hynard as global lead for asset management services, tasking her with setting strategy and steering the platform’s growth across key markets worldwide. JLL also added Nathan Zinn as lead director of asset management services for the Americas, where he is responsible for implementing the platform and driving its commercial expansion across U.S. markets.
Farbman Group reported a series of new hires and promotions across its operations. Michelle Marcinko has joined the company as a property manager, while Sam Paulus has joined NAI Farbman as a sales associate. In addition, Shannon Bauer is coming on board as a sales associate with Farbman Group, and Ashton Knoll has been hired as an electrical technician. On the advancement side, Christopher Debs has moved from a general manager role in the firm’s property management department to director of multifamily real estate, and Vinnie Lyles has been promoted to senior facilities manager in Ohio.
CRG is bolstering its student housing and residential platform with a senior-level addition. The firm appointed student housing specialist Carly Shepherd as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Shepherd, who brings more than 24 years of experience in student housing operations, leasing and marketing leadership, will oversee sales and marketing strategy for CRG’s Chapter-branded portfolio of student housing and multifamily communities across the country.
Gold + Oak, the lifestyle, retail merchandising and design division of Nicholas Family of Companies, has formally launched Gold + Oak Interiors to consolidate and expand its interior design capabilities. As part of the launch, the firm added designers Megan Vosburgh, Karen Hultsch and Jenna Scialabba, all of whom previously worked at Eleni Interiors. Eleni Interiors had been a project partner on prior multifamily and commercial assignments for Nicholas Family of Companies and has since merged with another firm.
Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, a national full-service real estate company, announced two new independent members of its board of directors. The firm appointed Donald Huffner, who most recently served as CEO and president of James Campbell Company, a private real estate firm based in Hawaii. It also named Craig Robinson, a veteran executive and advisor to real estate business services companies. They will join a board that also includes representatives of the company’s family ownership and its CEO.
Urban Innovations reported active leasing at its River North office portfolio in the first half of 2026. The company signed 18 new lease transactions and one expansion during the period, totaling more than 50,000 square feet of office leases across its River North buildings. Leasing Director Aaron Zaretsky represented the buildings in all of the transactions.
