Bradford Allen has completed two leases on behalf of Illinois Retina, adding up to more than 25,000 square feet of medical space in the broader Chicago market. The specialty medical services provider committed to a 16,228-square-foot lease in Skokie, Illinois, and an 8,728-square-foot lease in Munster, Indiana, approximately 30 miles southeast of Chicago.
The Skokie lease is located at Concourse Office Plaza at 4709-4711 Golf Road. Described as a long-term renewal and expansion, the transaction keeps Illinois Retina in place at the property while increasing its footprint. Concourse Office Plaza consists of two 12-story medical office buildings, providing a multi-building setting for physician practices and healthcare users.
In Munster, Illinois Retina relocated from a smaller facility into a new long-term lease at 9200 Calumet Ave. The move expands the group’s presence in northwest Indiana while maintaining proximity to its core Chicago-area patient base. The relocation underscores the group’s need for a larger space to support its operations in that submarket.
Craig Nadborne, executive managing director of brokerage services at Bradford Allen, negotiated both leases on behalf of Illinois Retina. Nadborne noted that Bradford Allen has worked with the group for more than two decades to align its real estate decisions with the requirements of its physicians, staff, and patients. He emphasized that the relationship has been built over many years and that the latest transactions reflect Illinois Retina’s growth and its ongoing focus on accessible, well-located care in the Chicago-area market.
Together, the two leases extend and expand Illinois Retina’s footprint across Illinois and Indiana while reinforcing its long-standing relationship with Bradford Allen. The Skokie renewal and expansion keeps the group in a familiar medical office setting, while the Munster relocation into a larger space supports continued growth in a nearby community. Both leases are characterized as long-term commitments, underscoring Illinois Retina’s intent to maintain and broaden its presence in the region.
For the Chicago-area medical office sector, these leases highlight continuing demand from established specialty practices for space in multi-story medical office properties and in growing suburban and secondary markets. The activity also illustrates how healthcare providers are using renewals, expansions, and relocations to adapt their real estate portfolios to patient access and operational needs.
