Texas Health Mansfield Stadium, an $88 million, 7,000-seat venue, has officially opened as a new anchor within Mansfield’s broader entertainment district. Local business interests and soccer executives anticipate that the stadium will support additional activity across the city’s $2.5 billion entertainment destination, which spans 100 acres. The surrounding district includes a convention center of more than 33,000 square feet, multiple hotels, a High5 Entertainment venue, retail space and housing, creating a mixed-use environment built around sports and hospitality.
The new stadium is designed to serve both professional soccer and a range of fan experiences. The facility offers four locker rooms to accommodate home, visiting and additional teams, as well as 10 suites and 16 loge boxes for premium viewing. A dedicated club area with capacity for 200 people provides an additional hospitality option for groups and events. The stadium features a natural-grass playing surface, aligning the field conditions with professional soccer standards.
Architecture firm Perkins&Will designed the approximately 200,000-square-foot stadium, giving the project a significant physical presence within the district. Moss & Associates Construction served as the general contractor and began construction at the end of 2024, delivering the facility for its opening in coordination with the entertainment district’s broader build-out. The stadium is owned by the city of Mansfield, reflecting a public-sector role in the creation of the venue and its integration into the surrounding mixed-use environment.
REV Entertainment and FC Dallas operate the stadium, overseeing day-to-day venue management and event programming. The facility is the home field for North Texas SC, which competes in the third tier of American soccer as the MLS Next Pro affiliate of FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. This formal affiliation ties the new stadium directly to the professional soccer pipeline and reinforces its role as a dedicated soccer-specific venue.
The combination of a publicly owned stadium, professional soccer tenancy and a large-scale, mixed-use entertainment district positions the project as a central component of Mansfield’s efforts to attract visitors and support nearby hotels, retail and entertainment offerings. With both core venue infrastructure and surrounding amenities now in place or planned, the district is structured to capture activity generated by soccer matches and other events staged at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium.
