Greystar has completed the lease-up phase for Archer Eastfield Station in Huntersville, opening the remaining residences at the 402-unit rental community located at 6615 Cerris Drive. Construction on the project began in the fall of 2024, with the first apartments delivered in February, and the balance of the homes now available to residents.
Archer Eastfield Station was developed by Greystar in partnership with Whitman Peterson, according to reporting from the Charlotte Business Journal. The community expands Greystar’s regional multifamily portfolio with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts positioned for households seeking professionally managed, amenity-rich rental housing.
As currently offered, asking rents at Archer Eastfield Station begin at $1,399 per month for one-bedroom units. Two-bedroom apartments start at $1,936 per month, and three-bedroom residences start at $2,453 per month. The community is targeted to renters earning around 80% of the area’s median income, placing it in the attainable and workforce-oriented segment of the market rather than at the luxury price tier.
The development is situated on a 16-acre site that supports a range of resident-focused amenities. Outdoor offerings include two dedicated dog parks, a resort-style swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen with grilling stations, an artisan maker’s space, a community garden, and walking trails. The property also features electric-vehicle charging stations, reflecting growing demand for EV infrastructure within new residential communities.
Indoor communal space is anchored by an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse. Within this building, residents have access to multiple lounges, a fitness center, and coworking areas designed to accommodate remote and hybrid work patterns. These amenities are intended to support daily living, wellness, and productivity needs on-site, reducing the need for residents to seek such services off-property.
In addition to delivering Archer Eastfield Station, Greystar is advancing its regional pipeline with another multifamily project. The company reports that work will begin soon on Remi West, a three-story, 276-unit apartment community planned between Queen City Drive and Tuckaseegee Road near Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The project is scheduled to deliver in spring 2028, adding more rental housing supply to the broader Charlotte area when completed.
With Archer Eastfield Station now fully open and Remi West moving toward construction, Greystar and its partners are expanding the stock of professionally managed rental housing in and around Huntersville and the Charlotte airport area, with a particular emphasis on serving residents at approximately 80% of area median income.
