Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) reported a major leadership transition with the retirement of Jim Rost, vice president of development, concluding a 50-year career in construction and development and 30 years with NRI. As announced by NRI president Brian J. Ellis, Chris Filby will assume the vice president of development role at the end of May. Over his career, Rost has been known for his focus on mentorship and workforce development within the construction industry, including his service as past president of the Builders’ Exchange of Central Ohio, where he supported initiatives centered on education and industry collaboration.
In Indianapolis, industry veteran Tom Hadley has joined JLL’s office as executive vice president on the firm’s office leasing advisory and sale team. Hadley will help lead JLL’s office advisory platform with responsibilities that span tenant representation and agency leasing assignments. He is joined by senior associate Sam Garvin, who brings additional support and emerging leadership as JLL continues to grow its office-focused advisory team in the market.
McHugh Construction announced three strategic additions to its team. Eric Engstrom has been hired as a project executive and will be responsible for leading the delivery of commercial developments for the firm. Grant Peoples has joined as director of risk management, a role in which he will oversee strategic risk planning and claims management to support the protection of McHugh’s projects, teams, and overall operations. Amit Patel has been brought on as a project manager, tasked with overseeing project execution and coordination in the field to help ensure delivery against project requirements.
Cushman & Wakefield expanded its brokerage capabilities in Northern Indiana with the addition of Tony Ponzetti as a director in its South Bend, Indiana office. Ponzetti will focus on industrial properties linked to manufacturing, distribution, logistics, high-tech facilities, development sites, and select agricultural assets. His remit extends across Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, reinforcing the firm’s industrial services coverage across this regional corridor.
Draper and Kramer, Incorporated announced that Kelli Stuart, CPM, ARM, general manager and assistant vice president, received the 2026 Certified Property Manager Excellence Award from the Chicago chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. Stuart has been with Draper and Kramer for 14 years and has accumulated more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, underscoring her long-term involvement in professional property management.
Greenstone Partners reported the promotion of Jordan Multack to partner, citing his strong production and contributions to the firm’s growth in the multifamily investment sales business. Before joining Greenstone Partners, Multack built his brokerage background at another nationally recognized commercial real estate firm, where he advanced his capabilities in underwriting, advisory work, and transaction execution in the multifamily sector.
