Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island has opened as the first Texas beachfront resort in the Margaritaville portfolio. Founders Jimmy Buffett and others say that Margaritaville is more than a place — it’s a State of Mind. Highline Hospitality Partners, an investment platform launched by Highline Real Estate Partners (HREP), invested over $30 million to completely transform the Pearl Hotel South Padre into this new resort.
The 200 guestrooms and 50 beachfront condos with one, two, or three-bedroom configurations offer guests plenty of options for their stay. Dining choices include LandShark Bar & Grill with indoor and outdoor patio seating overlooking the Gulf of Mexico; a swim-up bar serving signature cocktails; plus coffee drinks and quick bites from grab-and-go destination are available too! The area’s largest hotel pool is surrounded by private cabanas along with a separate area for kids while adjacent to the resort lies Sapphire Spa offering 8,000 square feet of both indoor & outdoor meeting space.
