**CBRE Secures Two New Lab Leases at GENESIS 21 Hickory in Waltham**
CBRE has finalized two full-floor lab space leases at GENESIS 21 Hickory, a premier Class A life sciences facility located at 21 Hickory Drive in Waltham, Massachusetts. The leases, totaling 48,127 square feet, were signed by biotech firms Dash Bio and Bonito Bio.
The property, owned by Phase 3 Real Estate Partners, Inc. and Bain Capital Real Estate, has been designed to meet the highest standards in the life sciences sector. CBRE’s Eric Smith, Alex Plaisted, and Perry Beal represented the building ownership during lease negotiations and marketing. Dash Bio was represented by Savills, while Cushman & Wakefield represented Bonito Bio.
“Both biotech firms wanted to elevate their image and committed to space with growth potential at a property offering the highest quality options in the market,” said Eric Smith of CBRE. “They are moving into newly built lab space that has been converted by ownership to meet industry-leading standards.”
Dash Bio will relocate its operations from 75 Chapel Street in Newton, while Bonito Bio will move from 850 Winter Street in Waltham.
