Murphy Development Acquires 77 Acres in Nampa, Idaho for Mixed-Use Project

Murphy Development Company Idaho (MDCI) has acquired two properties totaling 77 acres in Nampa, Idaho, positioning itself for a major mixed-use development in the region.

The company received municipal approval in June 2025 for a master-planned community that will include 1,492 multifamily residential units. The properties are strategically located near the newly developing Highway 16 Corridor, which is expected to become a vital artery for regional connectivity and future growth.

“These acquisitions position us ahead of the curve in a corridor that is rapidly emerging as a critical artery for regional growth,” said Mike Arduino, Partner at Murphy Development. “The Highway 16 Corridor offers an exceptional long-term land investment and development opportunity, and we appreciate the City of Nampa’s partnership as we work to deliver much-needed housing and long-term value to the community.”

Highway 16 is currently under construction and is set to serve as a transformative north–south route, encouraging further annexation, commercial development, and residential expansion in the surrounding areas.

In related news, Connect CRE is now accepting nominations for its ninth annual awards recognizing leading brokers in commercial real estate investment sales and leasing.

Stay tuned for more updates on Murphy Development’s progress in Nampa and the continued evolution of the Highway 16 Corridor.
