**Sunbelt Investment Holdings Acquires 272 Acres in Buckeye for $62.5 Million**

Sunbelt Investment Holdings Inc. (SIHI) has successfully secured 272 acres of Arizona State Land in Buckeye after winning a competitive auction. The bidding began at $42 million and escalated to $62.5 million, with Sunbelt emerging as the top bidder.

This newly acquired site adds to Sunbelt’s existing land holdings in the area. The company already owns two adjacent parcels on the north and south sides of the newly acquired property, bringing its total land ownership in the area to approximately 375 acres. The strategic site also boasts two miles of frontage along Interstate 10.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Sunbelt is exploring a range of development possibilities for the site, including retail, restaurants, medical facilities, and multifamily housing. The company plans to collaborate closely with the City of Buckeye on land entitlement, with the first phase of development expected to break ground in 2029 or 2030.

Currently, SIHI owns and operates 23 neighborhood and power shopping centers across Southern California and Arizona, totaling more than 4.1 million square feet of leasable space. The company also owns 1.5 million square feet of newly developed industrial buildings and is in the process of developing its first multifamily project in Phoenix.

This acquisition marks a significant expansion of Sunbelt’s real estate portfolio and reinforces its long-term commitment to growth and development in the Southwest.
