**Asana Partners Acquires The Arboretum in Austin with Major Renovations Planned**

Asana Partners has acquired The Arboretum, a prominent retail center located at 10000 Research Blvd. in the Great Hills neighborhood of Austin, Texas. The approximately 200,000-square-foot shopping destination was previously owned by Washington Prime Group Inc., which has been divesting properties following its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in 2021.

Asana Partners plans to revitalize The Arboretum with significant physical improvements and enhancements to the tenant mix. The aim is to transform the center into an 18-hour retail destination that caters to a broad range of consumers and activities beyond traditional shopping hours.

Planned upgrades include enhancements to common areas to support live music performances, pop-up retail experiences, and community-centered events. The project will also introduce expanded outdoor patio spaces for dining, improved wayfinding and connectivity, and updated storefront signage. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of this year, with completion targeted for early 2027.

Current tenants at The Arboretum include The Cheesecake Factory, Amy’s Ice Creams, Cava, Juliet Italian Kitchen, Pottery Barn, and Soma, among others.

Asana Partners currently manages more than $7 billion in neighborhood retail properties across the United States. This acquisition marks another strategic addition to its expanding retail portfolio focused on vibrant community-driven spaces.
